Developed through a partnership with the University of Manitoba faculty of Nursing, EMÜD is a roleplaying adventure game used in experimental pain research for children suffering from cancer.

Designed under the direction of Dr. Roberta Woodgate, eMud provides young players with a fictional online world to explore, be creative, and communicate with others.  Children can follow the game’s storyline independently or work together with others to solve the mystery behind sickness in the mythical world they find themselves in.

The game includes a wide variety of creative activities that Players can engage in, including drawing, composing music, writing, and even caring for pets in the game.
